I've had the privilege to call the Bentonville/Rogers/Lowell area "home" for over 20 years. Originally brought to the area from Wisconsin by Wal-Mart, through the years I've always had a passion and knack for real estate. I grew up in Wisconsin on a typical dairy farm operation, learning from an early age a dedicated work ethic, no matter the weather or situation. After a 22 year career with Wal-Mart, in the project management, technology and transportation areas, I am using those learnings to bring a personalized real estate experience to you. I have a degree in Education, and even though I have never taught professionally, I have found that my skills as a teacher have been invaluable in taking hard/complicated processes, whether at Wal-Mart or in real estate and making them easier to understand for someone who might be new to the experience. I believe that each customer deserves a real estate agent who can educate them on the process, and ensure that their needs are met through the transaction. Let me walk side by side with you through buying or selling your next home!
I grew up in the local community. I graduated from Bentonville High School, earned my Eagle Scout and received a Bachelors of Science from the University of Arkansas. At the university I majored in small business and entrepreneurship with a minor in economics. After completing my degree I began my own small business and flipped houses in my spare time. This is what led to being a real estate agent. It was a natural transition. This area is where I call home and choose to raise my family. I have a wife and three kids. We enjoy doing anything outdoors including; kayaking, climbing, hiking, backpacking, fishing and hunting. I'm a very energetic and hardworking individual that loves this industry because it is constantly changing. Everyday is a new problem to solve and that is exciting and never monotonous.
Jim, a Northwest Arkansas native, began selling land, homes, farms, and investment properties in December 2005. His passion for the outdoors coupled with his family's background in real estate, development, and construction were the perfect fit for this industry.
Prior to starting his real estate career, Jim served at Wal-Mart for 4 years in Operations. Before Wal-Mart, Jim was a member of the Wal-Mart Swim Club, a Bentonville High School Tiger, and then went on to swim at the University of Georgia.
From those seasons of life, Jim brought away many lessons including: integrity, teamwork, excellence, and dealing with adversity. These life lessons are the same principles Jim & his wife, Kristy, have chosen to build United Country - Sellers Properties on.
Jim is certainly passionate about selling real estate, but even more so about his faith & family.
When Jim isn't listing property with cowboy boots or showing houses with a big cup of coffee you can find him spending time with his wife and their three daughters: Caroline Faith, Cora Jo, & Abby Joy.
